Francisco Mireles

Mr. Francisco Mireles is an engineering mentor for the team. Mr. Mireles is a graduate from Gregory-Portland High School, and was an engineer for 12302 in the 2017-2019 school years. He is currently attending Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi majoring in mechanical engineering.  This is Mr Mireles’ first year as a mentor for FIRST, FTC,  and G-PHS Robotics.  He likes to read and play video games.  “ Robotics helped me become a better problem solver by needing me to think critically and better prepare myself for engineering.  I chose to become a mentor for robotics because I wanted to assist younger engineers to succeed in creating new robots and competing in tournaments.”
