Synergy is a robotics organization founded at Gregory-Portland High School. Throughout the year we design and program robots for the annual FIRST (For the Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) competition for FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge).

FTC Website: https://www.firstinspires.org/robotics/ftc

We all hold Synergy close to our hearts and what it means to us can be summed up into three things: teamwork, motivation, and love. Teamwork brings us closer together and assists us in getting as much work done together as possible. Our motivation pushes us to strive to be better after each competition and never becoming complacent. The love our team shares for other teams, mentors, sponsors, and each other helps us understand others and maintain a mutual respect for each other and other teams.

Gracious Professionalism is a FIRST value that we implement into all of our interactions in and outside of robotics. We understand how important it is to treat others with respect and have fun in all that we do for FTC competitions. Our team loves to meet with fellow teams from other schools and even our own school. We often have practice competitions with other Synergy teams as a way to motivate us and to share our modifications.
