Austin Thompson

Mr. Austin Thompson is a student programming mentor for the team. Mr Thompson is currently attending Gregory-Portland High School, and was a programmer for FTC team 12302 from 2018-2019. This is Mr Thompson’s first year as a mentor for FIRST, FTC, and GPHS Robotics. He enjoys fishing and playing video games in his free time. “Robotics has challenged me with thinking outside of the box and working around problems, preparing myself for mechanical engineering. I chose to be a mentor because I enjoyed working with my teammates the previous year, and wanted to help the new robotics members this year.”
